CODY PICKETT WILL START

Head coach Bart Andrus announced that Pickett remains the starter despite backup Kerry Joseph playing in the second half and moving the offence against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Andrus said part of the reason Pickett came out of Saturday’s game was he suffered an injury to his right arm.

Toronto takes on the Montreal Alouettes Saturday.

ARGONAUTS TRADE PARKER TO ESKIMOS

The Toronto Argonauts traded cornerback Byron Parker to the Edmonton Eskimos for future considerations Monday. Parker returned to the Argonauts after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles. Parker had become frustrated by the coaching staff not putting him in the starting lineup.

MULTI-PLAYER TRADE

The Calgary Stampeders acquired receivers Romby Bryant, Arjei Franklin, and a third-round pick in 2010 from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for receivers Jabari Arthur, Titus Ryan, Odell Willis, also a fourth and sixth round pick in 2010.

CFL Week 10 Results

We went 2-2 in week ten to move to 15-12 on the year.

Week 10 notes:

After much speculation and rumors The Winnipeg Blue Bombers won’t be signing Adam (Pacman) Jones after all. The team announced it has ended its pursuit of the ex-NFL cornerback.  Early in the week many sources including SI.com reported the deal was already done.  Pacman himself released a statement stating how happy he was to be playing again.
