CFL Week 2 Results

We went 1-1 in week two which brings our year total to 3-1.

Week two notes:

The Blue Bombers announced they cut Derick Armstrong. The release comes after Armstrong refused to take the field for the first game of the season in Edmonton. Armstrong did not practice with the club after the incident, as the Bombers looked to trade him, obviouly that didn’t work out.

CFL Week 1 Results

We went a perfect 2-0 in week one. 

Week One Notes:

Edmonton Eskimo Jesse Lumsden suffered a dislocated shoulder.  The injury is was to Lumsden’s left shoulder, which has twice required surgery to repair damage. Expect him out for several weeks, this will cause Edmonton to pass more, much like they did last season.

2009 Season set to start

The CFL preseason is over and the regular season is less than a week away! Can the Stampeders defend their Grey Cup crown? No team has won back-to-back titles since the Argonauts did it in 1996-97.  The action starts July 1st, check back then for our first picks of the year.
