The Toronto Argonauts traded cornerback Byron Parker to the Edmonton Eskimos for future considerations Monday. Parker returned to the Argonauts after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles. Parker had become frustrated by the coaching staff not putting him in the starting lineup.

We went 1-1  in week eight, we now have a 12-9 record on the season.

Week eight notes:

Former Toronto Argonauts cornerback Byron Parker has been cut by the Philadelphia Eagles and is expected to report for Toronto’s practice when the team returns from the break.  There next game is August 28 against the Calgary Stampeders.
